Please note that children under the age of 8 are not permitted in the swimming pool, hot tub, steam room or sauna. Children aged 8 and above must be supervised at all times. Children access trimmings are between 09:00am to 12:00pm and this must be reserved in advance. The minimum age for a spa treatment or to access the gym is 16 years. As of 8th April 2024 Club rooms and Suites include access for 2 hours daily to the pool and Spa area from 7am – 10pm. Unlimited access to the Gym between 7am and 10pm. Drinks served from 5 – 7.30pm, in the Club Lounge (this menu will change periodically). Deluxe bedroom, will not be offered the pool facilities. For non-refundable bookings, guests are required to present the same card that was used to make the reservation on check-in. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit in case of any incidentals, GBP 50 per night up to GBP 250 total is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit or debit card and will be released back to you.

Good location if you are wanting to be in the city and close to tube and train station. Room was a nice size
There was a constant wet patch that was forming outside my bathroom door. I notified staff but nothing seems to have been done and I was not notified again about it even though it still persisted. Also there is no thermostat in the rooms, you need to call reception and they can adjust it for you remotely which is a little strange

Overall good stay
1) The location is great - close to the the bus and trains and seemed relatively safe 2) The hotel is nice and clean, 3) Staff was very friendly and willing to help always, 4) The food was good - we barely left the hotel to eat, enjoyed the restaurants there, and 5) we got the bigger suite and it was a good size with great amenities to make us feel comfortable.
1) Though the location is great, it’s a hotspot and there are constantly non-guest visitors at the bar and rooftop restaurants especially at night, 2) You can only go to the spa/pool area for 1 hour - at Montcalm East there’s no limit, 3) hotel is older (but very clean and it seems recently updated), and 4) When we booked we were told free breakfast so we were excited but only to find out they did not say it was continental so you have to pay for full breakfast if you want.
