A nice stay for a London getaway
I liked the hotel lobby with there being multiple options for drinks and food The staff were so kind and helpful, it really made my stay.. on that alone I would return The spa was nice Bed in the room was a decent size Bathroom was lovely and I was especially happy about the heated flooring in there!
There was a bit too much chlorine in the jacuzzi and it made my eyes sting a little It’s slightly outdated and could do with a freshen up in the rooms

Overall good stay
1) The location is great - close to the the bus and trains and seemed relatively safe 2) The hotel is nice and clean, 3) Staff was very friendly and willing to help always, 4) The food was good - we barely left the hotel to eat, enjoyed the restaurants there, and 5) we got the bigger suite and it was a good size with great amenities to make us feel comfortable.
1) Though the location is great, it’s a hotspot and there are constantly non-guest visitors at the bar and rooftop restaurants especially at night, 2) You can only go to the spa/pool area for 1 hour - at Montcalm East there’s no limit, 3) hotel is older (but very clean and it seems recently updated), and 4) When we booked we were told free breakfast so we were excited but only to find out they did not say it was continental so you have to pay for full breakfast if you want.

Great stay and would definitely come back!
January, manager of the Guest experience Team was absolutely amazing in ensuring we had a comfortable and extra special stay! Montcalm is very lucky to have such an exceptional member of staff! We would return just because of the special care she took and generally we found staff courteous and helpful. Drinks at reception and conversational cafe staff just makes for that 'feeling welcome' difference!
There were some water issues in the room, low pressure and leak in toilet system, but remediable, I believe.
